Why get advice if I don’t have anything?

This is the perfect time to talk. Everyone starts somewhere, and it's all about learning. Without a map, it's hard to know where you're going. Let's build that map together.

What if I don't understand finances and look stupid?

The only way to look stupid is by not asking for help. We're here to educate people from all backgrounds, making finances easy to understand without any jargon. The more you learn, the better off everyone is. We're here to help you every step of the way.

Can I afford financial advice?

Are you sure? It’s true that MOST financial planning firms want to charge meeting fees and sometimes thousands of dollars to generate a statement of advice document, whether you go ahead with the advice or not. We don’t. That’s not how we work. We don’t charge for meetings… and if it takes 1, 2 or 10 meetings to establish a statement of advice, we don’t charge. On top of that, we don’t charge for our statements of advice either. If you go ahead with our advice, the cost to go ahead will be in the document. If you don’t go ahead, there is not cost. If the cost doesn’t make sense to you, don’t proceed. It’s that simple.

What if the advisor pushes products for their own benefit?

Not us. We're not owned or affiliated with any platform, super fund, insurance company, or fund manager. Our advice is always based on what's best for you. We don't receive any kickbacks or incentives for the products we recommend.

How long does it take to get advice?

Quality advice takes time. We follow strict guidelines to fully understand your situation and review everything you have in place. This process ensures we give you the best advice in writing. Once you receive the advice, we also help implement it. Great advice can be life-changing, so it’s worth the time it takes.

I have everything in order. Do I still need advice?

That's great to hear! But in our 20 years of experience, we've never met anyone who couldn't benefit from a little extra education and guidance. There's always room for improvement.

Am I locked into a contract with you?

No, there's no contracted period or exit fees for our services. If you decide to make changes or move in a different direction, we're here to help facilitate a smooth transition. We aim to make your life easier, not harder, during any changes you choose to make.

I’m too young to worry about my super and investments.

Um… the sooner you get this right – the better your financial future will be. You can’t be too young. First job? Perfect. Low balance in your super? Superb. Waiting until you’re in your fifties to get this part of your world right is like waiting until your house has burned down before calling the Fire Brigade.
